Notice: All services will be down again temporarily. Last time it was because the publisher was denied a passport by banned political party Awami League's staff still working in the passport offices even when their opposition BNP Jamaat was effectively the ruling party. Without a passport I could not open a South African bank account and had to find alternative ways to receive ZAR payment. This time BASIS (which is a very Awami League minded organization) activists working in the Bangladesh office of my hosting provider deny to solve technical/DNS issues with the hosting for my email mshahruzzq-com@mshahruzzq.com but they will not provide a refund for it. Obviously this is not how they should work as per the service rules of the hosting provider but for Awami League and Jatiyo Party (an Awami allied political party and the local wing of a sect known as Ahmaad Yaar Khan or Brelvi sect who claim that their sect represents the mainstream sect followed by the Mughals and that it was founded in the highly regarded towns of Bareilly and Muradabad in India even though their sect was actually founded by a Pakistani individual named Ahmaad Yaar Khan and a senior associate of his from India known as Amzad Azmi), particularly Awami League, preventing my business from succeeding has become like an act of patriotism which is the word they use to justify their wrong thoughts and actions against everyone else, even Bangladeshis if they have a business in a country such as South Africa. The reason they think I am an anti Bengali language intellectual is that I have some similarities (including food preferences) with Old Dhaka people where the culture is different. They have been raising this issue for a long time now to justify their hostility against my work but that only when it becomes very apparent that their behaviour was unjustified. But I have nothing to do about it and wait until BASIS and Awami League realizes that if they have problems with Boishommo Birodhi socialists of Bangladesh the clever approach in these unpredictable and volatile times is to focus on them instead of getting distracted by everyone else even when they are trying to avoid them. When I say BASIS I am not talking about BTRC which is a different organization even if the DNS issues originated with BTRC because during July a lot of socialists complained so much about BTRC that I might be mistaken as a Boishommo Birodhi if I raise issues with this organization. This might sound strange to many who are living outside Bangladesh that I make exceptions for BTRC but not others on the same issue they should know that here everything is like that and Awami League (in Bangladesh they are the far left) victimized many people based on such minor issues in the past including those who were not socialists/centre left (such as Old Dhaka people with whom I vaguely share some similarities and who usually have centre right views) until or unless they were on the far right because some among the far right such as BNP Jamaat boycotted elections but some of them did suffer and some of them were the sacrifice of politics. Also I did not have any talk with BTRC when I paid for the service so why should I ask them for a refund?

Now the BNP Jamaat government never helps with such problems because:
  1. My business is Africa oriented and they view Africans and Chinese as enemies of their ally Dr. Yunus. The truth is that South Africans speak a variant of Dutch and South Africa is different from the rest of Africa and do not have much China connections.
  2. BNP Jamaat keeps conveying that USA is a powerful country and even if they do not like USA they do not have the courage to interfere with US businesses (even when I tell them that my complaint is against Awami League and not USA or US businesses).
  3. They want me to switch to using some other tools such as Julia or Python for statistics (which is like replacing Fortran with Common Lisp) and frameworks such as Vue/React/etc even on the server side (which is like replacing Cobol with Basic) instead of using tools such as R and perl which they view as not very popular among Germans and continental Europeans but tools are just tools and I believe a lot of German people use both perl and R so I don't know why BNP Jamaat and other members of the Wahhabi and Nanotwi/Deobandi sect who form the far right here (and also the minority Rafidha sect) are against certain technology.
This update is to notify that I won't work on solving issues with the website anymore until I have moved to a new USA hosting (because many data centers are located there). And then I will not be using separate hosting for email but this will not impact the quality of service and communications too much. This does not mean there will be technical issues again but if we consider a hypothetical situation where there is such a technical issue again and some people start thinking they do not have to follow any rule in such situations or provide a refund then the cost of moving would be reduced if I have to move only one service and not two.

About

Publishing The Right Way

A publisher's work of presenting a publication to readers is only half his work. Content formatted in the right way can make a lot of difference to a publisher's business. This sample is the complete second volume of a publication which was formatted properly: vol2.

Here are some additional files that illustrate how such publications are formatted: pdf.zip.

Please note: The sample publication presented here covers rmarkdown and using perltex with rmarkdown. This package was developed so that R users were able to generate report documents. The knitr package was not developed as part of rmarkdown but already existed when rmarkdown was developed and rmarkdown was just another package that used knitr as a dependency. For example I am developing a package named perltexrmd for personal use which is what I will be using more often instead of the rmarkdown package. It will use rmarkdown as a dependency and extend rmarkdown's capability enabling it to use perltex as an engine in the latex_engine YAML options (till now I have only managed to replicate rmarkdown's existing functions and it can be installed from https://za.mshahruzzqbd.com/perltexrmd/ using install.packages() but the rest of the code will only work with pandoc forks that are more flexible about the --pdf-engine options which is okay for me because I will be using my own custom pandoc and which will not be publicly available for various reasons even though I would be happy if I could make it publicly available).
